Lualaba, DRC – 27 June 2025 – Kamoa Copper S.A. continues to demonstrate its commitment to sustainable development and the empowerment of local communities. On 27 June, the company made an advance payment of USD 310,661.11, representing a portion of its 0.3% revenue-based contribution for the year 2024. This allocation is dedicated to funding community development projects under the management and oversight of the specialised entity, DOT-KAMOA.
This early disbursement, made at the request of DOT-KAMOA, reflects Kamoa Copper’s dedication to fostering transparent partnerships and contributing to the sustainable growth of the Lualaba region.
In accordance with Congolese mining laws and regulations, the total 0.3% allocation based on the company’s 2024 revenue amounts to USD 9,319,833.29, with the remaining balance scheduled for payment before the end of the year. By releasing part of the funds in advance, Kamoa Copper supports proactive project management, enabling tangible progress on the ground.
