Lualaba, DRC – October 30, 2025 – In line with its obligations, Kamoa Copper S.A. continues to demonstrate its commitment to sustainable development and the empowerment of local communities. The company has made a third upfront payment of $310,661.11, representing the balance of 10% of its 0.3% contribution of revenue generated in 2024, to fund community development projects under the management and supervision of the specialized organization DOT-KAMOA.
This advanced payment of 10%, made at the request of DOT-KAMOA, demonstrates Kamoa Copper’s commitment to contributing to the sustainable development of Lualaba Province.
The total allocation of 0.3% of 2024 turnover made by the company, in accordance with Congolese mining laws and regulations, amounts to USD 9,319,833.29. The remaining 90% (ninety percent), constituting the balance, will be paid by the end of 2025. By requesting early release of funds, DOT-KAMOA intends to ensure proactive project management, thereby enabling concrete progress on the ground.
