A seasoned Mining Engineer with a master’s in business leadership, Tom has led major underground and opencast projects from feasibility through execution, across gold, platinum, and PGM operations. He has held senior roles at Sibanye-Stillwater, Harmony Gold, Anglo American Platinum, and Impala Platinum, driving transformation in safety, productivity, and innovation.

Tom is renowned for pioneering mechanised mining solutions, spearheading industry-wide safety initiatives, and guiding large-scale operational turnarounds. His leadership continues to shape Kamoa Copper’s strategic direction as the company expands its position as one of the world’s leading copper producers.
