{"id":6519,"date":"2022-10-06T11:32:16","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T09:32:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kamoacopper.com\/?p=6519"},"modified":"2024-11-21T18:24:33","modified_gmt":"2024-11-21T16:24:33","slug":"mwilu-early-childhood-development-centre-opens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kamoacopper.com\/en\/mwilu-early-childhood-development-centre-opens\/","title":{"rendered":"Mwilu Early Childhood Development Centre Opens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is with great joy that we announce the official opening of the Mwilu Early Childhood Development Centre (ECD).<\/p>\n<p>The Centre was opened by the Lualaba Provincial Minister of Education, Kantenga Kapenda Alain.<\/p>\n<p>Mwilu ECD is located in Cite\u2019 Musoka Community and is one of two Early Childhood Development Centre\u2019s supported by Kamoa to facilitate socio-economic development within the communities in which it operates.<\/p>\n<p>The Centre can accommodate a total of 80 learners between the ages of three to five years young, attending from October 2022. Learners will be divided into two classrooms where they will develop a variety of skills including Language and Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Arts and Crafts as well as Health and Physical education.<\/p>\n<p>Research shows that children under the age of 5 years are most receptive to learning. More than 85% of a child\u2019s brain is formed during this period.
