Lualaba, DRC – December 30 2025 – In accordance with its legal obligations and social responsibility commitments, Kamoa Copper S.A. has made its fourth payment towards the financing of community development projects, benefiting the specialist organisation DOT-KAMOA.
Made on 30 December 2025, this payment amounts to USD 8,387,849.96, representing 90% of the total allocation from the mandatory contribution of 0.3% of turnover achieved in 2024, in accordance with the provisions of the mining code and regulations in force in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This is the main disbursement intended to support the implementation of community projects in Lualaba Province.
The total allocation made by Kamoa Copper S.A. for the 2024 financial year amounts to USD 9,319,833.29, all of which will be used to fund community development initiatives under the management and supervision of DOT-KAMOA.
With this fourth payment, Kamoa Copper S.A. confirms that it has fully discharged all of its financial obligations relating to the 0.3% contribution of turnover for the year 2024, in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory framework.
Through this initiative, Kamoa Copper S.A. reaffirms its commitment to responsible mining, strict compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of the DRC, and the promotion of inclusive, sustainable and equitable community development for the benefit of local communities.
